The LG Action Sports CYON Championships will feature top pro competitions on a world-class half-pipe and local amateur competitions on a Street Course in skateboarding, inline skating and BMX. All participants in the LG Action Sports CYON Championships will have the opportunity to earn points in order to qualify for the LG Action Sports Championships. The LG Action Sports CYON Championships will offer an interactive youth cultural experience between pro athletes, musicians and the myriad of young adults that participate in and follow extreme sports. In addition to the top-level pro competition, the festival features live music on the music stage, autograph signings, LG promotion opportunities etc. |

Officially sanctioned
professional vert competitions in skateboarding, freestyle BMX and
inline skating will take place featuring a minimum of 30 of the top
international pros in both Beijing and Shanghai. The events are qualifiers
to the Action Sports Championships. The top Chinese national athletes
will participate in the event via a qualifying system of local events
and nominations from local associations. There is also a stage on-site
where bands will play live. |

The event features
top name pros from skateboarding, BMX and aggressive inline. Thirty
top pro international athletes will compete at the event, including
a host of X Games and World Champions. Some of the pros expected to
attend include stars like Jamie Bestwick (UK), Sandro Dias (BRA),
Rick Thorne (USA), John Parker (USA), Kevin Robinson (USA), Mattias Ringstrom (SWE), Jake Brown (AUS), Tas
Pappas (AUS), Eito Yasutoko (JAP), Fabiola da Silva (BRA), Nel Martin (SPA), Shane
Yost (AUS), Takeshi Yasutoko (JAP) and Beni Huber (SUI),
among others. |

Korean amateurs in
skateboard, BMX and inline will have a series of amateur contests
to qualify the best Korean athletes into the main competition. |
