 This year, The Yard will pay homage to the historic Pomona Fairplex. Twenty years ago, this location would attract dancers from all over. These dancers would meet, battle and share dance styles. Fresh of the L.A. Breakers, est. 1982, will bring that feel back to the L.A. County Fair at The Yard.
 You will witness the best of the new and old celebrating the extraordinary and entertaining art forms of Streetdancing. Hosted by Captain Freez, with over twenty years experience and Mookie, the extreme B-boy who is a professional BMX rider and snowboarder.
 Floorwars Battles
Floorwars was established in part with BBOY.COM in 1997. It has since been an event that allows dancers to attack the floor with a raw and exciting energy that is sure to blow audiences away. To win one of the Floorwars titles is considered a major accomplishment.
 Popping Exhibitions
Performance by The L.A. Breakers Poppers performing (GEOMATRIX). The stage will then have a cornucopia of Poppers and Lockers from San Diego, Oakland, San Francisco, Arizona, Las Vegas and more. Also representing will be poppers from The Pomona City O.G's.
Deejay Battle
The Deejay Battle will be a Head-to-Head style battle where DMC and ITF
circuit deejays will face off against one another. In the past, The Yard
has provided DMC-style battles where each deejay is given 4 minutes to
wow the crowd. In the head-to-head style, their routines will be shorter,
but they will be given opportunities to retaliate against
the competition. Audiences are guaranteed to enjoy this more aggressive
format
 Graffiti
Exhibitions and Black Book Area
The best graffiti artists will be given paint and a 40’ wall to
bomb. Audiences will then be able to see unique styles and colors spring
to life in vivid graffiti murals. True to Hip-Hop culture, this event
will be participatory as the audiences can then vote on which piece should
win.
Live Hip-Hop Acts
'Project Blowed' in The Yard: The most reknown and respected rap workshop, Project Blowed, will be featured throughout nonstop, and The Good Brothers will display lingustics and lyrics that will make your experience at The Yard complete.
