For your listening pleasure we present Channel One, Los Angeles' answer to the good music being made...in other cities. As a refreshing change from the Emo punk wannabees and balls to the wall metal that has dominated the LA music scene for too long, this band is trying to forge a path by looking back. With influences like earlier Radiohead, Nirvana, U2, REM, and newer acts like Coldplay and Audioslave, Channel One has developed a sound that is familiar but refreshing. Live on stage, the band exhibits all the traits of an act with staying power, playing with explosive energy, but sounding very similar to their recordings. Channel One will be what everyone is watching.
