The Inline World Championships features the championships event of the ASA Pro Tour (took place Sept 10-12) along with the World Amateur Championships (took place Sept 25).

For the pros, this event was the culmination of the 2004 season.  Pros qualified based on their ranking on the 2004 ASA Pro Tour.  At this event, we crowned the Inline World Champion and the 2004 ASA Pro Tour Champion (number one ranked skater after this event).

On the amateur side, more than one hundred amateur skaters qualified for this event at local feeder events across North America and around the world. This event crowned new pro skaters on the 2005 ASA Pro Circuit. Read all about what happened at the 2004 World Amateur Championships right here.
